Home Matters

Oct. 21,2018
The Fuller Center for Housing Macon met for our very first homeowners' workshop. What an awesome time of family fellowship, valuable information, a yummy dinner, games, and give-a-ways for the kids. We will meetseven more times with each workshop focusing on topics that will help our residents become better homeowners and deal with important financial matters.

Rev. Robert F. Veazey and students from First Presbyterian Day School, we so appreciate your work helping improve the lives of a local family; it takes special people to give of themselves to others in need. Thank you from the bottom of our heart.

Wesleyan Wolves WOW A Day!

October 27, 2018
Wesleyan College's website explains what WOW A Day is; they say, "Twice yearly, the Lane Center coordinates the mass-volunteer service effort known as WOW! A Day for Macon. In one day, Wesleyan students, faculty, and staff depart from campus to engage in simultaneous work with partner agencies on a broad spectrum of community needs. Not only do WOW! A Days enhance student engagement in the community, exposing them directly to real world experiences, they also spearhead Wesleyan’s efforts to infuse service learning both inside and outside the classroom. Community populations include senior citizens, at-risk children and youth, homeless, sick and community clean-up projects."

Thank you, Wesleyan Wolves for WOWing us with your mighty efforts and dedication to FCHM!
