Lynda Brown is now Executive Director of the Fuller Center for Housing of Macon. Throughout her twenty years of experience in the nonprofit field, Lynda has demonstrated her passion for strengthening families, creating partnerships and building effective communities. In her previous work, Lynda led a statewide network of nationally recognized family support programs through the University of Georgia Center for Family Research. More recently, she has served as the Vice President of Community Engagement for United Way of Central Georgia. In this capacity, she collaborated with Macon Housing Authority, In-Fill Housing, Navicent Health, Macon Transit Authority, Mercer University, and other community partners to assess community needs, create a plan of action and work with partners to implement phases in the areas of education, transportation, health, and job development. As a result of this work, Lynda secured funding for additional housing in Tindal Fields.
Lynda is adept at building collaboratives, managing multiple projects, providing leadership to partners and clients, and seeing the sacred in the everyday.
We are incredibly grateful that Lynda Brown has joined us with her leadership, knowledge, and passion; FCHM will continue to do simply astounding things for our community!
